Bruce PorterBruce H. Porter has earned degrees in Ancient Near Eastern Studies with an emphasis in Semitic languages, Scripture, The History of Religion and Anthropology (origin and symbolism in ancient religions), with two semesters in Israel for Judaic and Biblical studies. He conducted extensive research for the BYU Religious Studies Center on the Pearl of Great Price and the Book of Abraham in Eastern US, Europe, the Middle East, and Egypt. Bruce has been a CES Institute director and is now teaching for BYU Continuing Education, adult religion classes in the Mesa Arizona area. He and his wife Margaret have ten children and are currently residing in Mesa, Arizona.
